Formerly Feral Pete

It's been about seven weeks since I went for that fateful walk and discovered Stinky Pete trapped in a tool shed in the alley behind my store.
This is one of the very first pictures I ever took of the little dude, and will forever be one of my favorites.
When he first came along, he really was stinky.  Not only did he need a serious sponge bath, but he had some toxic gas that would make a trucker gag.  He still lets a noxious one rip every now and again, but he's gone from being "Stinky Pete" to "Pete Underfeet," and most often just "Petey."
He's affectionate, loves Little Isis, and has a purr like a motorboat.  And that face.  Oh, that face!
How could he not become a permanent member of the Purrchance To Dream gang?  I need to get him a bio page, and have Janna work on a sidebar collage for him!

I hope that today, another little feral kitten finds a loving Forever Home, and that they bring as much joy to their family as Stinky Pete has brought into my life!

That is one cute little kitten! My husband and I just adopted a little "throw-away." Toby was only 6 weeks old when his "owner" put him out with the trash. We heard his cries for help and instantly fell in love. I'm happy to say that after a month and a half, little Toby is a happy, healthy, thriving member of the family! And he's up a couple of pounds since his first visit to the vet.
