I'd gotten Jazper situated in at the store, and he was a little freaked, so I thought some time alone might settle him down.
When we came back from our coffee, I went into the bathroom, and by the time I got back -- Bessie was seated in my chair, with a lap full of purring Jazper.
You can see that they hit it off right away. Not a cat person, eh, Bessie?
By the time Bessie had to leave for an appointment, he was getting sleepy. But the second I sat down in the chair, he leapt up into my lap, and climbed up onto my chest. He demanded attention for over an hour. I've never had a cat lick my face like a puppy, but he was all over me, licking and head-butting and purring.
So much for me fostering him, until we could get him adopted.
Yep, he's found his new Forever Home.
After our luv session, he jumped down and meowed until I gave him some stinky goodness.
Now he's curled up under a display table, in the little private tent that the tablecloth makes, taking a nap. I've had several customers come & go since he went under the table, and he didn't even flick an ear in their general direction.
Thanks to Danielle & her kids, and to Karen and everyone in the Cat Blogosphere who helped make this connection happen.
Purrs & head-butts,
♥ ♥ ♥
