Formerly Feral Maddy needs a Forever Home

A beautiful brown tabby with a coat as soft as mink, “Madeleine” (“Maddy,” for short) was brought to us late one night by a good Samaritan who had found her with a serious injury to her right eye. The injury was clearly not an accident or the result of a fight. It was purposely inflicted. How can people be so cruel? Luckily, this cruel act has been forgotten by “Maddy,” and she is as loving and trusting as if nothing bad had ever happened to her. She just looks like she’s always “winking.”

“Maddy” has been spayed, FeLV/FIV tested negative, vaccinated and microchipped.

She has a beautiful soul and will make some lucky cat lover a wonderful companion. She is extremely mellow and gets along with other cats very well. We estimate her to have been born in February 2004.

  1. Oh, Maddy, I hope you find a home soon! There is a cat at the shelter my Mommie goes to called Pierre. He recently had his eye removed and he is doing just fine. And Pierre has a wink just like you! I think it looks charming.

    Oh, Not The Mama! My Mom & I feel terrible! We got behind on our reading and didn't know until now about Ubee. We are so sad for you! He was a most wonderful kitty and we know you loved him lots and will miss him something terrible. We also know he is in a good place now where he poops real good and there's always lots to eat and stuff. He will see you when you get there.

    Mom & I are both so grateful that Ubee's last days here were spent with you and in total love. He was blessed to have had this time with you. There are no accidents. God sent him to you so he could experience that much love and affection before he went back "home", and so you could experience the "gift of Ubee".

    We both send you hugs.

    I just did my first meme thingy, other than the weekly ones like Dogic Monday, Woofless Wednesday, Friday's Feast. I tagged you to do it too. It's on my doggy bloggy, so just copy & paste it and follow along.

    Let me know when it's done so I can come over and see what you put.

    Whoof!

  6. And some people don't "get" why we love animals so much! And why some people deserve to be consigned to the depths of hell...
    Little Maddy is adorable and I wish I could give her a forever home!
    ~~~Blessings~~~
