Pete Underfeet

Petey has grown so much in the past two weeks.  He is like the Energizer Kitten.  He keeps going, and going, and going... And he's always under my feet when I'm walking.  Victor mentioned that I should name him Pete Underfeet, and it suits him perfectly.
He loves to play and be held, but he has a special affection for my feet.  And for my food.  I've been trying to teach him the meaning of "No" but frankly sometimes it's easier to put him in the bathroom when I try to eat.
None of my other kitties have ever shown much interest in people food, so it's strange to have a little hoover wanting every thing I eat.
More pics of Petey coming soon!

  1. I ♥ Petey Mo. He's so special. I've never heard of a cat that cared much for people food. Quite interesting. Have a great day. :)

Uncle Mo, didn't anyone ever tell you about the relationship cats have with NO? It's kinda like nailing jello to the wall. Not happenin'.

  9. Wow! Pete is adorable! And that's a really cool name he's carrying on.

My beans can understand the "No" word being the only one we don't understand. I like to get alllll cute when my hoomans have tasty foods. And then when they try to give me some (cuz I'm SO cute), I just sniff it and walk away. Maybe I'll teach Pete how to do that - it drives beans CRAZY! :)

  11. Maybe it's because he went hungry before he met you?

He's a cutie and Underfeet is a very cute last name.

  12. Sounds like a Native American name! Very cute. (Sorry, I've been reading some of J.A. Jance's books! Everything reminds me of something Native American!).
We had a kitty that loved cantaloupe and one that fought hubman over a ear of corn. Frasier had one end of the cob and hubman had the other!

  16. Pete Underfeet is a wonderful name for an adorable kitten! Toeshee loves bean food too. He's been known to dive head first into a plate of pancakes. :)
I'm glad your kitties forgave you for being away. They love their NTM very much!
    Hugs to all,

  17. Hey Petey! Our Momma has to run to her bedroom and close the door or my brofurs and sisfurs will eat her food. Sometimes she shares, but not enough.

  18. Pete reminds me of Harley! When my Mommie is trying to eat, he sticks his head real close and just chomps on whatever she is eating. He will not back away! And yesterday, he chewed through a package of tortillas and took a little bite out of each one!

  19. Welcome to the Club Petey. Would you want to join our 9 pairs of eyes watching Daddy quickly stuff down his food as he was afraid that we would snatch it away? Hehe... :P

He's just so cute! I love black and white kitties :-) We had a kitty many years ago who loved human food -- anything I was eating he wanted to share. Snickerdoodles was his name -- wonderful kitty, I miss him a lot still.

  21. Pete Underfeet. That's a neat name.

We can't repeat what Jan calls us when we're under her feet. Or on them. We dogs tend to walk on her shoes, especially the backs of her flipflops.
