While everyone else
naps in the sun...

It's Sunday Morning Wrestling next to my computer chair.   Yes, at only a few months old, Petey is as big as Little Isis.
I've become adept at listing to Little Isis' growls and hisses - which ones are her enjoying the playing, and which ones are "Pete needs a Time Out!"
In the picture, you can see Little Isis' shaved tummy - the stitches and incision look good, with no swelling.  She wants to be held more than she ever has, and she's suddenly become very affectionate, which has surprised me, but she's certainly on her way to being all healed up from her ladygardenectomy!
Since Daphne and Chloe have such a close sibling bond, it makes me very happy to see that Little Isis and Petey are developing a similar strong bond.  Just this week, in the rare moments of Pete's "down time" they've started grooming each other and snuggling together.
Hope you get some snuggling today!
love,
Not The Mama

  1. Looks like Pete might end up as a Big Mancat like me. And sounds like he is in his forever home!

  5. I am trying to learn about how big Mancats can get. How much does Petey weigh? Harley is 7 months old and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. And his paws are huge!

  9. Daisy--My mancat, Moe, was 13 lbs. when healthy. Haven't weighed Manny yet--he doesn't let me hold him long enough but my guess is he's close to that too.

How can you tell if your cats are just play wrestling or if they're actually attacking? Mine chase each other sometimes and wrestle. Usually though it seems one is trying to play and the other doesn't want to.

AWWW! love that face! glad you two are getting along so well. kitties need a friend to play and snuggle with. well, except for Max. he's still scared of all of us.

the Lady went to the shelter yesterday to cuddle homeless kitties. one of them was a big boycat - 25 pounds of solid muscle and fluff. he was a monster sized Ragdoll with gorgeous blue eyes and humongous paws. she's got pictures. mancats can get BIG!
