This coming Monday the 7th is Daphne and Chloe's birthday. A couple years ago, a stray cat adopted one of my friends, Kathleen, and it turns out she was pregnant. The cat, not Kathleen, but I digress...
Kathleen named the cat Mari (she is pictured above), and on March 7, 2006, Mari gave birth to six kittens.
There were 5 girls, and one boy - and I got to see them the very first day they entered this world.
I was immediately smitten with the one calico kitten. Over the next few days, we'll see some pics of this calico cutie Chloe and her tabby sister, Daphne, and their siblings. They all inherited Momma Mari's green eyes.
And then on Monday, we'll have a party to celebrate Daphne and Chloe's fifth birthday.
