Finally Friday

At the end of a long week, I thought we could all use a kitten-fix. This is one of my favorite pictures of little Chloe and Daphne - from their very first night with me. I went to sleep, and they were hiding under the sleeping bag - I woke up, and they were curled up on top of the paint table in the sunshine.
Early this morning, during the earthquake, Chloe was the only one not to hide under the bed. She was up on the bed with me. After I got up to make sure everything was okay, Chloe curled up, back in her regular spot between my knees and Spooker jumped up on my chest. I told her I loved her, and she put a paw on my lips and we fell back asleep.
Hope you all know that feeling of unconditional love today.
Hugs,
Not The Mama

  3. Ah, look at the baby Daphne and Chloe with their eyes squinched tightly shut! Too cute!

I'm glad you are safe after the earthquake. I have never been in an earthquake, but my Mommie grew up in southern California and she said they can be a little bit scairty.

  4. I'm glad your kitties weren't too upset. Cody seemed a little extra clingy this morning. He's really sensitive to weather changes. Spooker snuggling with you like that made me a little teary. So sweet! so are the kitten pictures.

We can't believe we had an earthquake here in Michigan! We was sound asleep with Mommy and we didn't feel a thing.

  6. What a sweet picture! My staff is still running around the house whapping on each other, because we had a second quake at 11:15, and 12 aftershocks so far. We're sitting right on the fault that's causing it.

  12. I love the sweet kitty pictures~!
I just don't understand why certain folks don't love kitties like we do...
I got some unconditional love today from the doggers. There's nothing like snugglin' with the fur-babies!

  13. Unconditional Love...priceless!!!!

Mo, I am so happy everything was okay with the earthquake. I live on a fault also here in Western New York. We have had a few small tremors over the past 20 or so years. Just felt like a big truck was going by...that kinda rumble feeling. Nothing big like cow bells going and such. You and your kitties make such a lovely little family. Thanks for sharing.
