This morning, Isis and Inkie went back to the vet for a check-up and to have their ladygardenectomy stitches removed. Miss Inkie had already helped matters along by having removed a few of her own sutures, and her scar was more swollen than Little Isis's because of pulling.
Petey came along for the ride (well, that's what I told him, anyway...) and he got his second check-up and second round of kitten shots - so now he's ready for his hoo-ha-ectomy later this winter.
While Petey has gained almost two pounds since his last doctor's visit, Little Isis has managed to only gain less-than-a-quarter of a pound. But she got a clean bill of health, and the vet said she's proportionate for her size and for me to quit worrying about her.
Who, me, worry???
Bessie thinks that Inkie might need a sibling, after seeing how well Pete and Isis are getting along and keeping each other company, so she's going to see two different litters of kittens today... I politely refrained from seeing the kittens (no see = no temptation), because Six Is Enough!
Ciao For Now,
Not The Mama
Glad all are healthy and I thought it was Eight is Enough, not six. Just saying. Have a great day. Big hug. :)
ReplyDeleteremember that movie "with six you get eggroll"? this made me think of that... i'm glad they are okay mo mo...i mean ntm!

Love the background. Glad to hear all the furbabies are doing well. I agree, six is enough... Any more and you'll be labeled that crazy cat guy...LOL!
ReplyDeleteMom sez she's confused. She looked at the list of your six cats, and there is no Inkie on the list.
ReplyDeleteWho is Inkie? Glad all 3 of em are doing well, though.
niko & cloud:
ReplyDeleteInkie is one of my rescues. She was found half dead in the snow and I nursed her back to health.
My assistant in the store, Bessie, adopted Inkie, so I still get to see her often and we coordinate vet trips.
Sorry for the confusion!
I think it would be great for Inkie to get a bebbeh brother or sister!
ReplyDeleteHarley went to the vet today because he has blisters on his mouth which are either an allergy to plastic bowls, or to his food. Anyway, he is over 10 pounds already. He might never stop growing!
my Gosh if you get any more kittens we will never hear from you cause you won't be able to find the Key Board. My goodness Mo. I found a card once that showed a person in an easy chair and the only way you knew they were there is because of two eyeballs, the rest of the person was buried in kitty's... purrrr purrrr droooolll drooolll
ReplyDeleteA companion for Inky! Yay! Way to go, Miss Bessie!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the girls passed their exams today...

ReplyDeleteI'm glad all is well.
I am glad to hear that everyone is doing so well!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the girls are ok. Maybe Little Isis is just a little delicate flower.
ReplyDeleteWe've heard that it is cheaper by the dozen, akshooally.
ReplyDeletecome on mo, yoo know yoo want a dozen, ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteSix is enough but I've heard that seven is heaven!
ReplyDeleteCat Magnet NTM would come home with six or seven more. A bakers dozen!
ReplyDeletewe is happy that the girls is doing well - and little Isis, maybe you need some cake!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that they are all doing well!
ReplyDeleteWe is going ta the V-E-T soon fer stabby stuff (we know cause the wether is gettin cooler) but we nefer know the ezact day an that drives us a bit weerd.
ReplyDeleteSkeeter and LC
Well, we're 6, but the human-to-cat ratio is different. You've got 1:6, and that's pretty impressive. If we had a ratio like that, there'd be 24 of us!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be fun to have six kitties but my neighbors might freak out... and Andy would be rendered blind with swollen eyes.
