I was searching for a photo of Daphne to turn into a Sepia Scene, and liked the composition of this one. But in the editing process, I realized how much I liked her green eyes in the original, too.
What I really wanted to do was to edit her green eyes into the sepia image, but I'm not that technically advanced in the photo-enhancing department yet!
But I thought a before-and-after compare and contrast would be fun to present.
Enjoy!

I quite like that effect, but you are right--it would be cool if you could leave those pretty green eyes in. I've seen tutorials on how to do that but couldn't tell where!
ReplyDeleteDaphne sure is a purrty girl. Green eyes or brown, she is tiptop.
ReplyDeleteCute cat! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

I love the composition & form. It would be cool to keep her striking green eyes. Hope someone can help you figure that out.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, we love the sepia scenes.
ReplyDeleteI like the sepia a lot but I really do think her eyes are so pretty in the first one. It would be cool to have sepia with green eyes.
ReplyDeleteI do like the sepia effect, both by itself, and with the green eyes incorporated. A striking contrast.
ReplyDeleteThe sepia kitty looks almost as if she was a design woven into the carpet itself. She is a beauty, and her textural style seems to blend so well with the weave of the rug...
ReplyDeleteFeel free to send my Mommy the original, big image to sy at sybilleyates dot com and she helps you to make it sepia AND keeps the eyes green.
ReplyDeleteInteresting contrast: modern and old-fashioned Daphne. ;-)
ReplyDeleteToo bad you can't keep the green eyes and have the special effects.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice in sepia - I like her green eyes too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sepia photo, I love the eyes. The merged photo in the next post is awesome! Great job.
