Purries Update

Mr Pinky Nose

Hi everyone,
We had some storms last night and this morning, and Daphne really doesn't like storms or the sound of heavy rain on the roof.  At about 6:30 this morning, I was awakened by what I thought was someone trying to break into the house - there was a pounding on the window coming from the other room - it turned out it was Jack, trying to catch a bug on the window and his big paws smacking the glass.
Spooker is doing better, and we would like to thank everyone for their purrs and prayers.  She goes back to the vet in a week for a follow-up appointment.  Now, if only we could get Pete (pictured above) to stop trying to attack Spooker when she walks from the bedroom to the living room.  He and Daphne are sniffing the air at the screen door as I write this, while Spooker is on the back of the couch behind me, and Isis is on top of the DVR soaking in the electronic warmth.
Hope everyone is safe after the storms of the past few days, and that no one's home is in danger of flooding.
Be safe,
NTM

Mmm...bugs! Hope you got to eat it. We're glad Spooker is doing better and you're all okay from the storms. We don't have much of that sort of thing here, thank goodness!

  2. We kitties tend to lose control when we are bug hunting and forget about everything else. I am happy that Spooker is better - I hope that Pete's attacks are not stressing her out too much!

  3. It is good ta hear that Spooker is doing better. We have been getting heavy rain fer 2 days and there is standing water on the lawn, but it is downhill from us. We dont mind the sound of rain on the roof, as long as there are no BOOMIES!

  5. Oh wow that would have scared the bleep out of mom - banging on the window.
Good thing it was just Jack trying to protect the house

Spooker needs to calm down. perhaps a week with the Feliway plug in. That works for us when things change around here.

Mom says we could have our own water park in the back yard - bring your own raftie

  9. Kids, Kids, Kids! All this chaos, lol..Sele hates storms but she loves to swat at bugs too and makes that funny clacking sound with her mouth.

Sending purrs and prayers for Spooker to continue on her recovery.
