I mean he is relentlessly mean to her.
I have to separate them at night - Jaz doesn't mind going to his heated den in the basement, fortunately - but during the day it's escalated to the point where Jaz is only coming up for meal times.
So, it is IMPORTANT that I find a Forever Home for her, soon!
(you like how I worked in the Photo Hunters theme word there?)
So, I am re-doubling my efforts to find a home for this sweet calico girl.
I talked to the library & the county shelter and both are going to let me post signs on their bulletin boards. I have flyers up in storefronts here in town & at the grocery store.
I've also created a Catster page for Callie in the Adoptables:
Any other suggestions?

Can you use Petfinder? I don't know if they require that you are a shelter or not.
ReplyDeleteWe will send lots of purrs to help you find a home for her--although we wish we were in a position to say send her to us -- although as we don't know which cat is the "problem" as far as getting along, it's hard to know if she'd fit here anyway!
I think you are doing what you can. I will purray that someone will give her a forever home!

We hope she gets her furrever home very soon. We'll keep our paws crossed.
ReplyDeleteYou have already done a lot. I am going to cross my paws and purr, too.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a pretty girl. I would be really surprised if she didn't have a home in a few days. It sounds as if you've done a great job of getting the word out.
ReplyDeleteI'm so lucky that Mr Tucker and my houseguests get along as well as they do.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Callie.
Oh, if only Cricket wasn't such a naughty little diva! I would love to take her, but I'm so afraid of how Cricket Monster would behave. I will keep purraying that Callie finds a home soon.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Purrs,

We don't have any new suggestions - it sounds like you're doing a lot anyway. We'll keep purraying that someone out there wants a little calico and can provide her with the purrfect home,

I don't have any suggestions...unless there are other places that will let you place a flyer.
ReplyDeleteMeowm and I will purray for a sfe loving home to be found for Miss Callie soon!
What a shame Mo. I don't have any suggestions either. Everyone knows you are the guru concerning kitties. Good luck. :)
ReplyDeleteUh oh!
ReplyDeleteMy fingers are crossed that someone will give her a cozy home soon!
We hope Callie finds a forever home...
ReplyDeleteHow about some Feliway in the meantime?
ReplyDeleteYou could find a shelter to sponser her on Petfinder. Some shelters will do courtesy postings for animals in foster care. Do a search for shelters in your area and send out some E-mails. Maybe you will get lucky.
