Sometimes I wish Pete had an OFF switch, you know? He is incorrigible, unstoppable, and the feline equivalent of the Energizer Bunny. In the middle of the night last night he discovered how FUN it was to race up and down my body while I tried to sleep, biting at various and sundry parts...
I wanted to flip him over on his back and find an OFF button on his belly, let me tell you!
Yes, I'm a little cranky today...
Ciao for now,
~ Not The Mama
He's the epitome of 'kitten' that's what. Yep, he knows how to be a kitten alright. I hope you get some sleep soon. He could be vanquished to other parts of the apartment if he doesn't behave. Have a great day Not The Mama. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
ReplyDeleteIvy isn't even a kitten and she does that to mommy.
ReplyDeleteAh my human remembers those days with Gemini--don't wiggle toes at all!!! EVER
ReplyDeleteHaha! That used to happen to me too, till Cocoa turned all jealous and territorial. Now, if anycat comes near me when I sleep, he chases them away.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Well, Petey is just exercising his right to be a kitten, that's all! Don't worry, Uncle Mo, Petey will be a Mancat soon enough! =)
ReplyDeleteYou think that's bad. You want to have 20lbs of Eric thundering up and down your body in the middle of the night when he discovers Flynn has finished off all the food!
ReplyDeleteHarley enjoys biting toes under the covers at about 2:00 am. I like hearing the screams from my Mommie.
ReplyDeleteAwww...Petey the kitten!
ReplyDeleteDon't move. Not efun in yur sleep. Dat's what Mom says since Bonnie was an attack tabby kitten. Trying keepin him awake durin the day so he sleeps more of the nite?
ReplyDeleteIf you find dat off switch (or paws button), let us ALL know, kay?
maw feels that way bout the pug. she also was hoping she came with a remote for volume. no chance of that.
ReplyDelete-wlk
I have pictures of that and it's really making me smile!
ReplyDeleteWe had a sweet little doxie and an orange male tabby cat. Rosie and Johnny would chase each other all over the house - the "chaser" changed at every corner. We used to call it "Zizzing." One night a friend of ours stopped over on his way home and needed to sleep over. He didn't get much sleep because of all the zizzin' going on. Up the couch, up the bookcase, down the curtain and up the piano; walk on the piano keys and make much icky noise; knock over flower pot and hiss.....and on and on.
Don't you just love 'em?
~~~Blessings~~~
Oh, it's been a long time since mom hadded a kitten running all over but she amembers dat dey is like da enerjizer bunny...now she just gets da wake up effury couple of hours when we all change places.
ReplyDeleteIts been so long since we hadid kits around us, even the mom doesnt member how it was. Fanks for the reminder, perhaps it will stop her fer lookin fer TT's replacement.
ReplyDeleteAaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes!!!
ReplyDeleteLiving through kitten he** heeheehee
Mickey's Mom
I often wish the same things about my children! *LOL*
ReplyDeleteMini has taken to sleeping half the night with Jasmine and then getting up and crying till I let her in bed with me. I don't mind so much but Jasmine does.
ReplyDeleteI can remember before we got pets and I said, "no way are they sleeping with us"... Maxy goes outside at least twice per night when he's home. I guess he has lots of territory to remark after being away for so long.
An off switch would be a good thing. I hope you get lots of sleep tonight.
Mommy feels the same way about Rocky - and he's 5 years old! GAH!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some sleep, soon NTM!
{{{hugs}}}
This stage of kittenhood will pass quickly and Pete will learn that beds are meant for napping.
ReplyDeleteLOL YOU are cranky today!!
ReplyDeleteha ha ha! Sorry to laugh, but it is funny :O)
ReplyDeleteToeshee is the same way! He still gets tucked in the bathroom at night because he draws blood so much. I have nicknamed him Lestat. He jumps on Cody and sinks his teeth into his neck.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Petey and Isis are getting along. Is he going to be her permanent brother? Six is a nice even number...
Hugs,
Lorianna
I think Meowm feels the same way about me sometimes.
ReplyDeleteOrion
Praline is 13 years old and every once in a while, she will still jump on top of me while I am sleeping. I guess they never get over it.
ReplyDeletegood luck with that. Billy doesn't have one either. ::SIGH::
