Rescue Kitten Update

Just got back from the vet with the rescue kitten.  We've got good news: FELV & FIV testing both came back negative!  So, he (yes, it turns out it's a he!) got an exam and first kitten shots, and he was the most calm kitten ever to have his nails trimmed!  He also got de-worming meds.  The vet estimated he was about ten weeks old, but said it was hard to determine because of being underweight and dehydrated.
Over night last night, he had used the litter box and eaten, so I was encouraged by that, now just need to get som fluids and good food into the little guy.  He ate a good dinner (which included his worm meds) and he's now sleeping in his litter box - of course, he has a towel in our big "seclusion" carrier, but he's sleeping in the litter box...
The vet office that I visited doesn't have a bulletin board for adoptable pets, but I know both of my nearby PetSmarts so allow that.  I will also look into Petfinder for trying to find the little guy a Forever Home.  Other suggestions from you on resources would be appreciated.
We have been very moved by the generosity of everyone who has donated for veterinary care and fostering of this kitten.  We thank you very sincerely and will do a separate post of gratitude.
I'd used the word "grimbleschnitz" when I first posted about the kitten on facebook, and some comments suggested the little guy be named Grimbleschnitz. How about Grimmy? What do you think of calling him Grimmy?

  15. When I was a kid, my aunt adopted a tiny fluffy little ball of black fur from a barn cat's litter. I loved that baby and wanted so much to pet her, but she was feral and my aunt thought she'd scratch me. The kitty grew up to be a gorgeous, plump, fluffy house panther. Sadly, she never warmed up to the idea of children petting her. I used to spend hours sitting quietly, hoping the kitty would like me. Her name was Grimalkin, though everyone called her Grimmy. I think it's a great name, and I'll hit up the chipin too. I'm so glad you rescued him.

Any name given in love is perfect..
